​Khan was a top 4 player in Pakistan between 2011-2015 and has won numerous tournaments and accolades (including the Sharjah Open in 2017).

Khan is also currently responsible for developing competitive squads and touring with them overseas when necessary. He also looks after the development of tennis in his native state of Kyber Pakthunkhua and heads the annual summer clinic there.
