Sasha started playing tennis at the age of 6, during the era of Marat Safin and Nikolay Davidenko. Since then, he has climbed up to the Top 100 ranking in the Russian National rankings, and won multiple tennis tournaments including finishing as second runner up at the the Serbian Federal District Cup. Pursuit of his academics stopped his entry into the world of professional tennis and the ATP, but Alex turned his love for the game towards helping others achieve their tennis goals.

Sasha has been coaching tennis at all levels including high performance for the last 13 years. He loves coaching children, but is very keen on developing the adults' tennis scene in Dubai. He brings his expertise to head the HPTA academy in Jumeirah and Meydan.

Owing to completing a masters degree in economics, Sasha is also heading the business development and future planning for HPTA.

When he isn't on the court or looking after HPTA's business development, Sasha is a loving husband, a doting father of two and an avid Netflix binger!
